Data Requests

The 8th Wall hosted platform was retired on February 28, 2026. Self-service project export is no longer available through the platform.

Your project files have not been deleted. All project data is being retained until August 31, 2027. If you need to recover or erase your data, see the options below.

Recover Your Project Data​

To request an export of your project files, email privacy@nianticspatial.com with the subject line "8th Wall Data Recovery Request" and include:

  • The email address associated with your 8th Wall account
  • The name(s) of the project(s) you want to recover
  • Request type: Data Recovery

You will receive your project files as a .zip archive. Allow reasonable time for processing; we will reply to confirm receipt and provide an expected turnaround.

Request Erasure of Your Data​

To request deletion of your account data and project files, email privacy@nianticspatial.com with the subject line "8th Wall Data Erasure Request" and include:

  • The email address associated with your 8th Wall account
  • The name(s) of any specific project(s) you want deleted, or indicate that you want all data removed
  • Request type: Data Erasure

We will confirm receipt and notify you when the erasure is complete.

After August 31, 2027​

On August 31, 2027, all remaining 8th Wall project data will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted. After that date, recovery is no longer possible and this page will reflect that no data remains.

If you need your project files, submit a recovery request before August 31, 2027.
